Find My Tire Chains
Find tire chains by vehicle type, tire size, or year, make, model, and trim. TireChain.com helps match tire chains to the tire size on your vehicle for trucks, SUVs, cars, ATVs, tractors, loaders, graders, snow, ice, mud, paved roads, and off-road use.
Search by Vehicle Type
Choose your vehicle or equipment type first. This is usually the best starting point because tire chain recommendations depend on tire size, vehicle type, clearance, tread style, road surface, and driving conditions.
Search by Year / Make / Model
Choose your vehicle, then pick one of the matched tire-size options. This lookup only shows tire sizes that exist in the TireChain.com bySize database.

How to Choose the Right Tire Chain
Tire chains are selected by tire size first, then narrowed by vehicle type, tread style, surface, clearance, and conditions.
Best for Ice
Studded tire chains are usually the most aggressive choice for ice and hard-packed snow. V-bar chains are also aggressive, but V-bar and studded chains are different traction types.
Best for Road Use
Diamond-pattern, diagonal-pattern, cable, and automatic-tensioning chains are usually better for paved-road use, smoother ride, and lateral stability.
Best for Mud or Off-Road
For mud, off-road use, and deep snow, heavier link chains are usually better than cable or road-style chains. More chain profile on the tire helps when clearance allows.
Load Range E Tires
Load Range E, KO2-style, all-terrain, and mud-terrain tires often run larger than standard tire sizing suggests and may need special chain recommendations.

Tire Chain Finder FAQ
Quick answers for customers using vehicle type or year / make / model to find tire chains.
Should I search by vehicle type or year / make / model?
Vehicle type is usually best when you know how the chains will be used. Year / make / model is helpful for finding common tire sizes, but you should still confirm the tire size printed on your sidewall.
Why does the year / make / model finder only show certain vehicles?
The lookup only shows vehicles with tire sizes that already match tire sizes in the TireChain.com bySize database.
Do tire chains fit by vehicle or by tire size?
Tire chains fit by tire size first. Vehicle type, clearance, tread style, and use condition help determine the best chain style recommendation.
